Gal Gadot, Lady in Red
If there’s a more classic beauty combination than red lips and black liquid eyeliner, we haven’t found it. Equal parts timeless, sexy, and strong, there’s a reason it’s been rocked through the decades by the boldest women in Hollywood. Here, the go-to look gets a fresh twist with full, groomed brows. Talk about a power play.
  1. Make sure your brows are on point. Start by brushing your brow hairs up and out at an angle (this primes your brows for filling) with the spoolie brush on the ColorStay Brow Pencil. Next, using the pencil end (Gal is wearing Dark Brown), sketch in tiny flecks of color—like tiny hairs—in any sparse areas along your arches.

  2. Pump up the volume. Take the small angled brush that comes in the ColorStay Brow Kit and dip it in the translucent pomade; run the pomade through the length of your brows using soft strokes. Now it’s time for serious color: Using the same little angled brush dipped in the powder that comes in the ColorStay Brow Kit, draw tiny flecks throughout the length of your brows to add definition and heft (here, using the ColorStay Brow Kit in Dark Brown). Finish by brushing through your brows with a spoolie again, moving upward and outward to blend the color and mold them into place.

  3. Draw the line. Time to get acquainted with the classics: Using the ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen (with the Sharp Line tip), trace a thin line along your upper lashes, starting at the inner corners and gradually thickening it as you move to the outer edges of your eyes (or, for an easier way to get that thickness, simply draw a second line at the outer third of your eye, just above the first line, and fill in the empty space between the two). To create a cat eye, we rarely do it freestyle since it’s so damn hard. Instead, we like to hold a business card at a slight angle at the corner of our eye and trace along the upper edge to get a perfect little flick. Then, we thicken the flick by adding a second flick right above it and connecting the two (just wait until the first one is dry). Finish by defining your lower lash line with ColorStay Eye Liner in Black Brown.

  4. Give your lashes some love. Wiggle the brush from a drama-building mascara, like Volumazing in Blackest Black, at the base of your upper lashes, then run it through to the tips. Finally, go back over the tips a few times (the darker they are, the longer they look).

  5. Go right on red. Starting at the Cupid’s bow of your lips and moving outward, smooth on Super Lustrous Lipstick in Fire & Ice straight from the tube—the formula’s that creamy and easy. Then slick the lipstick across your bottom lip and say, “Mwah.” For the most long-lasting effect, blot with a tissue and apply a second coat.

  6. Nail it. Give the whole look even more polish—with an equally fierce nail polish. Gal’s wearing ColorStay Gel Envy Nail Polish in All On Red, a bright, brilliant cherry.
